With her past distant and forgotten Natalya has built herself a nice life. She has a job she finds rewarding as a special agent with the Paranormal Investigation Bureau. Her partner, Dante, isn’t too bad for a bloodsucking vampire. Val, her boss, is like a father to her. Her favorite part is that she lives near the Cascade Mountains. Whenever she needs a little vacation, she can shift into a tiger and go running in the woods. Life is good. That is until recently. Agents are turning up dead and she can’t pin down what is going on. She arrives on the scene just after the action has ended. Stemming her vexation, she helps heal the injured Radek, Val’s son. Kalypso is forced to yet again clean up one of their messes.
She finds her friends have been keeping a deadly secret. Her heart is crushed when the worst should happen. The lives of those she cares about are all on the line. Vengeance will be had. Kalypso is forced to work with the one she vowed never to work with again. It requires her to open herself up in a way she never has before. Will she admit to the love that dwells in her heart? Rising Shadows
It’s been months since the director of the Paranormal Investigation Bureau was killed. The new director Dante has been working nonstop. An important international conference is about to start and Dante needs someone to accompany him.
Savannah is working in the PIB lab. She's attempting to tie up the loose ends of the tragedy from a few months before. (And having no luck.) She also has hidden feelings for Dante. When approached she has no choice but to go with Dante to the conference.
As they spend time together will her feelings come out? Does he share her feelings? Then there is the fact that where ever Dante goes danger follows. When the fur starts flying will they stay together or be torn apart.
